Mr Phanidhar Talukdar obtained Gold Medal (Bishnu Prasad Dewerah Memorial) in 1976 from Gauhati University by topping the list of successful candidates in Assamese Honours. |

Up to 2007 , 351 students passed with Honours & Major in Assamese, 68 of them
successfully pursued the P.G. studies, 6 obtained M Phill & 6 obtained Ph. D degree.
Out of these students 2 are rendering services as Principals, 23 as Lecturers
in different Colleges |
