Tihu College

Each Department has a separate common room and a Departmental Library to support students’ aspiration.

All Science Departments besides the Dept. of Education have well equipped laboratory facilities.

A well equipped and hygienic canteen exists and serves during the daytime within College campus.

An attractive Auditorium is in place to organize academic and cultural programmes.

The College has a separate spacious gymnasium for the students with modern equipment Moreover, local enthusiasts are also entertained here on certain conditions.

A spacious outdoor play ground is on the bank of the river Tihu with facilities for Athletics, Football, Cricket, Volleyball etc. The College offers facilities for gymnastics, other indoor games and sports also.

The CIC within Tihu College campus provides Certificate Courses at concessional rate under the supervision of qualified personnels. The centre is equipped with Internet Facilities which extend scopes to browse websites and explore internet at sudsidised rates.

This is another computer facility available for computer learners. The College does office work at the unit.

  • Special Coaching for SC/ST: The scheme is introduced and aided by UGC.
  • Network Resource Centre: Introduced with aid from UGC.
  • Library Facility:
    a) Students are provided with two Readers’ Cards for transaction of books.Students with Major in any subject are allowed         one additional card. Besides, the Library Committee of Tihu College has the right to issue more cards to meritorious and         deserving students.
    b) Computer Access to Central Library information may be availed.
