COURSE STRUCTURE : Three Year Degree Course (TDC)

Bachelor of Arts:

The College offers Major in the following subjects:
   
(1) Assamese,
(2) Economics,
(3) Education,
(4) English,
(5) Geography,
(6) History,
(7) Mathematics,
(8) Philosophy,
(9) Political Science.
Students of TDC Part-I (1+1+1) Arts may choose any of the above subjects as Major and have to additionally choose one subject as General from the following subjects:
 
(1) Philosophy / Education
(2) History / Mathematics
(3) Elective Assamese / Sanskrit
(4) Elective Assamese / Geography
(5) Economics
(6) Political Science
A student without Major has to choose any two as General subjects from the above mentioned combinations:
 
English and MIL (Assamese) / Alternative English are compulsory for the TDC- I & TDC-Il Year students, while Environmental Studies is compulsory for the TDC-II Year students only.

Bachelor of Science:

The College offers Major in the following subjects:
 
1) Zoology
2) Physics
3) Mathematics
4) Botany
A student of TDC Part-I (1+1+ 1) Science has to choose any one of the above subject as Major and other subjects as General form the following combinations:
 
(1) Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics;
(2) Chemistry, Botany, Zoology;
(3) Botany, Zoology, Mathematics;
(4) Geography, Botany, Zoology;
(5) Physics, Geography, Mathematics;
(6) Chemistry, Mathematics, Geography;
A student without Major has to opt for only two elective subjects as Pass subjects out of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Geography. English is compulsory only for the Part-I (1+1+1) Examination.
 
English and MIL (Assamese) / Alternative English are compulsory for the TDC- I & TDC-Il Year students, while Environmental Studies is compulsory for the TDC-II Year students only.
